Lochee Music Group started as “an Idea” round the café table. People with musical skills and talent wanted to have a safe place to make music which was not in a pub or club. “the idea” began to form into a reality. Lochee Music Group was established. The Musicians have varied backgrounds and many talents. They play guitar, keyboard, drums and sing. As confidence has grown and their repertoire has expanded, they now play at community events and have given concerts – all from a chat round the table.

Initially supported by Lochee Parish Church Community Support Worker, Faith in Community Dundee and Dundee Healthy Living Initiative, Lochee Music Group is now a constituted group with its own office bearers.

Practice is in the Lochee Parish Church Hall on Wednesday morning.
